Looking to the Future

  • Passed a balanced budget that gave cost of living raises to our stellar employees and did not cut services
  • Updated and amended the Rental Ordinance to fit with current laws and regulations

Creating Community

  • New Town Organizations have been added: Berwyn Heights Pool Club, Fundación Elena, Garden Club, and Berwyn Heights Village
  • Involved families in the first Kids Paint 'n' Sip in Town as the instructor.

Advocacy

  • After the Career firefighters were moved out of the Berwyn Heights Volunteer Fire Department in June 2024, Tiffany fought tirelessly for their return, that occurred in November 2025.
  • Lobbied for - and received - a Bond Bill to renovate the playground, basketball courts, and tennis courts in collaboration with PGCPS and Parks and Planning.

Expanding Participation

  • After considering the results from the last ballot questions, the Town Charter was amended to allow for All-Resident Voting, for 16-17 Year-Olds voting, and for the Council to change election day so it follows Berwyn Heights Day and does not conflict with a primary or special election.
  • The election ordinance was updated to allow absentee ballots to be requested up to the day before the election, changing this from 30 days prior.

Community Outreach

  • Championed the implementation of our Community Free Pantry
  • Participated in District 22 Food Distributions
  • Participated in food distributions with the Community Schools Program at BHES

Sustainability

  • As part of the Tree Canopy Revitalization Project, nearly 200 trees have been planted, arborists visited dozens of residents, and classes on tree care were held.
  • A comprehensive study was completed, and recommendations were made to Prince George's County in regard to flooding in Berwyn Heights that is due to the insufficient storm drain system
